  • Yes, a retainer reserves your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the session / event.

  • Absolutely! I’m based in Santa Cruz County, and I’m happy to travel throughout California and beyond. Travel fees vary by location.

  • I like to focus on the story of the day (or the moment). I'll guide you with simple prompts so things feel natural, and I'll step in for posed photos every so often – but my favorite images always come from the natural moments that happen in between.

  • Please do! For weddings & events, you can share a shot list you've made, or we can create one together based on your priorities. For portraits, feel free to send inspiration photos and we'll use them as a guide.

  • Typical turnaround is within 4 weeks for weddings & events, or 2 weeks for portraits.

  • It depends on a bunch of things (I know, I know), but for a rough ballpark: weddings usually land around 200-400 images, and portrait sessions are typically 30-50 images. The exact total varies based on coverage length, timeline, lighting, and how much chaos / fun is happening.

  • Yes. I edit for color, light, and consistency, and I'll remove small distractions, but I don't do heavy airbrushing or other over-the-top edits. I try to keep things as true to the moment as possible.

  • Yes, you’ll receive high-resolution, edited images ready for download & printing. I don’t deliver RAW / unedited files by default, but if you have a specific need, we can talk about options & pricing.

  • You'll receive your photos in a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download full-resolution images (either individually or as a full gallery). You can also choose whether others can download by sharing a PIN.

  • Yes, prints and albums are available, and I can help you pick out sizes / materials if needed as well!

  • Absolutely! You’ll have personal sharing rights. For brands / commercial use, we’ll confirm usage needs during booking.

  • For portraits, we can reschedule or embrace the mood. For weddings / events, I come prepared for whatever the day brings.

  • Yes, second (and third and so on) shooters are available as an add-on.

  • I don't personally shoot video, but I can recommend (and help you book) videographers I trust (subject to availability). If you'd like a photo + video team, I'll coordinate with them so everything feels easy and cohesive!
